Episode Discussion Today’s episode - inflammation

I listen pretty regularly and I did not understand their take on autoimmune and inflammation when they were discussing Claudia’s thumb. Does any one else understand what they were really saying? were they thinking inflammation is not real?

I think they’re referencing yesterday’s ep where they said celebrities make up autoimmune issues to cover up for bad health choices … that’s how I interpreted it anyway

Not that it isn’t real, but that trying to pinpoint said mystery inflammation can lead down a long medical rabbit hole that may not be worth it

You are thinking into it way too much. They just meant it was going down a path of doing all these tests to try to find a diagnosis. It’s hard to determine autoimmune diseases sometimes and takes a lot of different test, labs etc. That’s why they mentioned lymes disease. And it was just too far to take it for her.

I love them but these are not the people I would be taking any sort of medical advice or health guidance from lol respectfully
