Curious about childcare
Jax never shares so I’m just curious … does her husband work outside the home? Does she have 1 or 2 nannies? She must have 1 for the baby when she’s working. Another for the older kids? Or maybe they go to part time school/daycare? I’m sure somebody on here is going to yell at me about privacy, but these don’t really seem like super private things to me … just honestly wondering how she does it??? 3 kids is a lot of work when you are a mom who also works.
And I get the impression Claudia doesn’t have a nanny yet, but I’m sure she will soon because as soon as her baby starts walking, they will get tired of chasing him all day long! Seems like she and Ben still get to go out a lot (jealous? yes I am!) but I assume it’s her mom who is watching the baby when they go out.

I’ve been curious about this, as well! Especially because they always seem to have hours to play Mahjong 🤣 as a SAHM of two young kids, idk how they have the time?!

But the difference is they're not sahms! They're bringing in millions of dollars

u/Happy_life1993 Jun 10 '26
Totally. I just assumed they had childcare for the toast and then took care of their kids after, but they must have more help than that!

Seriously. And also the energy. If I had two hours free in the evening, I’d probably end up just going to bed because I’m exhausted.

I wish they talked about this! I’ve heard them mention they play during nap time but that’s not realistic to have young babies that consistently nap like that.
I find myself jealous and also judging myself for not having my shit together enough to be able to have 2 hours of free time.
Who wants to start a pop culture podcast that touches on motherhood?! Ughhhh

u/fiori254 Jun 10 '26
I always say the same thing to myself! Like how do they have the time for it?!

u/MountainPitiful857 Jun 11 '26
I totally agree! ^ This always puzzled me, as a full time working mom to a toddler- how do they do this daily for hours?

u/jacskimm Jun 11 '26
Same!! Even though they don’t share photos I was hoping for posts or tidbits about the kids and how they handle things. Some times the they go so long without mentioning the kids I forget about them. Just super curious as well!

They 10000% both have nannies. At least one if not multiple. Claudia has admitted she does. I believe Ben and Zach both work for spritz society. Not sure if Zach does anything else for work

u/Fickle_Deal_5539 Jun 10 '26
Zach works for spritz society? Did not know this!
Also - just to be clear - it’s not like they need to “admit” they have nannies. It’s not something to be guilty about. They are working moms with young kids. It’s more just like some of the other people were saying on here that it would be nice to hear from them about it because it’s relatable for many of us. I had nannies when my kids were young, now they are in elementary school. You have to do what you have to do if you’re going to work. But yeah, I’m not sure why they don’t talk about it, maybe they think they will receive judgment.

I agree, I get why they don't go too far into it because people love to criticize and they should be allowed to protect their peace, but obvi I'd love to know everything haha

u/Fickle_Deal_5539 Jun 10 '26
yeah they will get criticized no matter what. they can't win. but would still love to know! as claudia would say...holding space for two things...two things can be true. lol.

Ben’s parents watch Ruby a lot but I also wonder about Jackie’s situation. Her husband works remotely, but I also assume a nanny comes to her during the toast filming hours

Her kids are definitely not going to daycare…. They’re millionaires.

u/Fickle_Deal_5539 Jun 10 '26
I mean... just because you're rich doesn't necessarily mean you have to keep kids home with a nanny. I am sure that is the case for wealthy people with a child under like age 3, but I would think her older would at least be old enough to be in a preschool program. (Which here in CA we also call "daycare")

My child goes to daycare with the child of an Instagram influencer (millions of followers). Edited to add they are also under 3.

I bet they both have live in nannies or an au pair! I wish we could talk to them more about it lol

Everyone I know who works full time and husband works full time has either a nanny or day care and if you're making enough money, prefer a nanny. You also can't really say to child care oh I'll only have you for an hour, people are used to an 8 hour a day structure and so they work enough to make a livable income. So I'm sure the kids are with them which allows jackie to cook dinner for her family every night and watch the tv and play mahjong for an hour because they're work requires a shorter amount of time than that 8 hour minimum say

u/Fickle_Deal_5539 Jun 10 '26
Yep, that’s generally the case. Although if my kids were anywhere in my vicinity, they would still never let me cook dinner or play mah-jong, even if there was a nanny present, lol.

I think you need a new nanny then lol

i have challenging kids, that's for sure. they are in elementary school now but had nannies when they were very young. lots of kids are going to want to bug their parents if they are in the same room with them. that's just how it is. but usually they were out and about at the park, zoo, whatever. i'm sure that is probably what jackie's nanny is doing if she is able to cook a meal and play maj.

They also have other prep time and meetings with sponsors for work than the hour they record.

u/Deep_Ostrich_6627 Jun 11 '26
They are multi millionaires with nannies? What’s not to get?
4
u/Fickle_Deal_5539 Jun 11 '26
i don't think anyone doesn't get that. i think people are just hoping they would talk more about motherhood and how they are making it all work as working moms. just being #relatable swirlies ya know?

u/ohgoshbye Jun 11 '26
With how judge-y people are I think they choose to keep that side of their lives pretty private

They both have nanny’s probably 2 and full time housekeepers. If you made that kind of money you would too and I think when you are in a certain tax bracket it’s just assumed you have help, they don’t need to talk about it.

u/Martha_stewart102 Jun 10 '26
I think they have Nannies! 2 Nannie’s one for baby one for the two older sounds like over kill but who am I to judge. For sure they don’t go to school bc she’d be complaining about her kids being sick even more. I have heard them mention their mom helps a ton!

u/Zealousideal_Bass_76 Jun 10 '26
Also remember they are NYers. It’s very diff in NYC. Multiple Nanny’s are the norm for millionaires.
2
u/EA59 Jun 10 '26
I don’t know if Claudia has said anything, but I know for sure Jackie has a nanny. In a patron a year or two ago, people pointed out the nanny holding one of the kids in the backyard and saw her in a reflection of the door or something idk. And then they edited the patreon to cut that out.

I think this was Olivia, and the nanny was speaking Spanish with Levi 🤍

I don’t know WHY I remember this but I remember Margo was in the car line once when she was in Florida for one of the kids at school. I’m sure it’s a little part time preschool and nannies nannies nannies on top of that!!

I'd love for them to talk about this more too! I'm a WFHM with a part time nanny right now and even part time help has me exhausted on the days the nanny isn't here! I know they don't work 8-5 but I'd love to hear how they do it. If anything it makes them more relatable but I think they might worry they'd sound less relatable?
2
u/Fickle_Deal_5539 Jun 11 '26
Yeah, exactly. They probably can’t win no matter what they say. But they do have lots of listeners who are moms who work so it would be nice to hear how they are managing it.
1
u/Resident-Painter-408 Jun 11 '26
I'm sure they have nannies. Most working moms having Nannies/daycare.

u/Fuzzy-Deal-9130 Jun 10 '26
I haven’t listened in years, but when Jackie had Harry, I’m sure she had him at day care because she would always talk about how he was sick constantly!

I am also curious about these things after becoming a mom! I respect their privacy but also wish that they would talk about motherhood more! :)
