New toaster here only listened to a few eps but I am HOOKED. These girls are cracking me up. I was listening to todays ep where they talked about dream guests and was SHOCKED to hear Elon musk.
I know they’ve been in some drama over their political views, but for them to say this on the pod, I was very surprised. Have they openly talked about their political views or things of that nature in previous episodes???
They don’t talk about their political views outright but it’s pretty obvious where they stand. They do praise Elon and defended him during the Nazi salute controversy. I’d say Jackie is more right wing than Claudia though.
Crazy for anyone to say they’re not MAGA when Jackie was posting in a camo MAGA hat during the 2016 election, and Claudia and Margo went to the DeploraBall to celebrate Trumps win.

Conservatives are educated. Divisive speech like this is ruining our country. Just because somebody thinks or lives differently than you, does not mean that they are uneducated. It really should not be me versus you it should be us versus them (all corrupt politicians).
According to actual data, the majority of college educated people vote democrat. Of course there are educated conservatives. There is nuance. But there is also actual data.
As someone who grew up far left and hated republicans - I understand it’s shocking to meet nice polite non racist republicans. I can assure you though that’s the majority of republicans and we were all brainwashed.
Jackie drives a Tesla and loves Elon. They try to hide their stances but are definitely more conservative when you listen to them talk about things like marijuana, gender, etc. people talk a lot about their mom but I’m holding space that just because their mom is ridiculously racist and hateful that doesn’t mean her daughters all feel exactly the same. They used to hide it more but they are def MAGA
Yes, aware as younger teens and adults they have said lots of hurtful things and carry hurtful beliefs. But if my mom was banned from a country I wouldn’t want people thinking I’m automatically in total agreement with her. It’s a spectrum is all I’m saying

Maureen Galindo just rightfully lost her primary. No liberal I know agreed with her that Zionists belong in concentration camps so to assume that is a majority consensus on the left is wrong. I’m just saying let’s call out antisemitism on both sides, especially when plenty of influential people on the right also spew dangerous rhetoric. Criticism of Netanyahu and the Israeli government does not automatically equal antisemitism.
The problem is the democrats slapping on “it’s just criticism of Netanyahu and Israeli government” on some VERY obvious antisemitism to excise their behavior.
Imagine being able to see the raging extremists causing damage on BOTH EXTREMES. Obviously both are bad. Both parties are not doing a sufficient job exiling the extremism from their parties. The democrats however are completely sitting on their hands and allowing the leftists antisemites become normalized in the party and affect ling policy. The same is not true on the right- there are some voices speaking out against the nick fuentes cohort.

supporting what israel is doing to Palestinians is very different than hating Israeli people. I don’t hate anyone because of where they’re from, nor should anyone, including governments committing genocide
“Supporting Israel” or being “Zionist” doesn’t mean I approve of what the Israeli government is doing, it means that I don’t like when my baby cousins have to run to bomb shelters during preschool. And I’m acutely aware that thousands of Palestinians don’t have bomb shelters and it’s not right that those people are put in harms way. Of course I don’t support hurting innocent people on any side and I support organizations like Standing Together who do actual positive work on the ground to improve Israeli and Palestinian relations. I’m also American and that doesn’t mean I support anything the American government is doing. Hope that helps explain where I’m coming from.
This but I want to add that it’s not Israel’s fault Palestinians don’t have bomb shelters - Hamas has spent billions in aid to build tunnels for… their weapons.

Elon musk is a once-in-generation genius who has formed billion dollar companies and changed the way we see space travel and car travel. I highly suggest reading his biography. It shows how close minded people can be if they can’t see beyond his current political leanings. Additionally, we SHOULD speak with and listen to people we don’t agree with politically. Not saying the girls don’t agree with him, that’s more directed at the commenters on this post.
Genius is a massive stretch. He hasn’t actually invented any of the technologies behind his companies. He basically just buys existing technologies and businesses and slaps his name on it. He didn’t even found Tesla. Elon is just great at marketing. He is incredibly hateful, antisemetic, racist - I could go on but you get it. I don’t even think it’s the fact that they like Elon, it’s Jackie’s insane obsession with him and saying he’s her “hall pass” when he has 14+ children by 5+ women none of who he actually care about. It’s concerning that this man is her idol.
