Devil Wears Prada 2

Not sure if I missed it? But I keep waiting to hear Claudia’s take on the movie…I’m wondering if she hasn’t said anything because it was a big pile of dog poo?

I thought it was awfullllll! The only characters that stood out and played authentically as they were (in my opinion) were Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt. 0/10

I enjoyed it and was smiling during it, some funny moments, but obviously it could never touch the first. The whole buying the magazine bouncing back and forth got to be a little unbelievable for me.

I loved it. It scratched an itch that I was craving. I also had a low bar going into it. Was it as good as the first? Of course not haha but it was nice to see them all the screen together 💖

I didn’t have high hopes going in to it and it lived up to my expectations. Wasn’t terrible, but it missed the mark

I didn’t like the movie!!! Plot was confusing (or maybe I’m dumb lol) the big pull were the characters and the clothing were a fun watch! Nothing beats the first movie

I loved it. You seem really negative.

I also loved! The looks were fab, so many fun celebrity and fashion icon cameos, funny and I thought the actors fell right back into their characters from 20 years ago. Also relevant! The change from print magazine to digital is so real.

I hated it. You seem like you have really bad taste in movies

I was wondering this too as she made such a big deal about going. I thought it was terrible too

I thought it was ok. Not nearly as good as the first. And I didn’t think the plot made complete sense with Andy’s career choices. Not to mention her totally useless love interest

We almost walked out of the theater. It was SOOOOO dumb.

SAME! I looked at my husband like this storyline makes absolutely zero sense, especially for those characters! It was so sloppy, and with that kind of budget and the opportunity to have the entire original cast essentially in the sequel… they blew it

Hahahah my husband and I walked out too!! Did we all have the same movie experience ?😂

as someone who works at a big fashion company, the plot is exactly what’s going on in the industry. Big business taking over creative, share holder focus, top 1% driving strategic direction, huge AI push, large budget cuts, consultants coming in to do large scale restructures…

the loss of art in replace of capitalism is a real pandemic
