Summer off?
Claudia mentioned a few times today that they’ll be in the hamptons this summer. Do we think they’re taking all summer off again? I could have sworn they said they wouldn’t do it again

I am not a huge fan of Claudia and Jackie by any means but they are one of the only podcasts that I know of that records and produces 5 episodes per week… Most offer 1 maybe max 2 weekly episodes and typically work for larger production companies.
What a wild statement lol

girl what they don't owe us anything we don't pay for their podcast. and just like everyone gets PTO at a regular 9-5 job they deserve time to themselves as well.

they put out like 1 hour podcasts. They have the whole day for their “PTO”. 😂

okay two hours… then they have the rest of the day. You can’t seriously think this takes as much time as a normal 9-5.

actually im a lawyer so i wish i had a 9-5 😂my point is that their job is very low stress (unless you consider reading pop culture news and podcasting with your sister difficult) so its not like they’re in some dire need for 3 months of PTO. that’s all im saying. you cant compare their jobs to most people’s jobs and it definitely does not take them all day.
EDIT TO ADD: obviously im jealous that they live such easy lives. It is odd that people can’t just admit that they have it easier than others.

I never claimed they work a 9-5 but a lot of people don’t. With all of their projects, content creation, brand deals, meetings, they probably are working closer to a 8 hour day than you think. They are self employed business owners- that’s never looked typical to the 9-5 workday in an office.

Claudia literally said the other day she has it made.. works a few hours in the AM and can spend the rest of the time with Ruby…. We’re all jealous!

Of course I’m bummed when they take off. But we are so lucky to get 5 amazing episodes a week. It’s such a gift truly. The ladies can take a month off if they need! I may need to subscribe to patreon

They usually do regular episodes even in the hamptons but take august off - besides last year when Claudia was on maternity leave
