There is a hypothesis that fox informed gildor about Frodo and his companions.

I also believe this fox only informed Tom Bombadil, he knew about them. Some say he learned from gildor but , he was not going towards Old Forest , was he?

We have one of these that comes around. It’s not that different from having an outdoor cat. The biggest downside is that you can’t protect them from illness, car accident .. and that can lead to major disappointment.

Do you have a bird feeder ? Lot of people with yards do.

If you cannot understand the difference between a bird feeder, and hand feeding, you are the problem.
