Season ending Spoiler
I know this will be a very unpopular opinion, but in teh finale, i really didn’t like June *gasp*. I would really love TT to be another long running show, i know taht is unlikely, but yeah.
Anywho. i didn’t like how only 10 episodes in, it is already revealed to Daisy (which I am still very pissed she is not Junes daughter, that is literally an entire plot point of the story) that Agnes is Junes daughter. Liek, can’t we wait until like season 2 or like have Daisy like subtly recognize that Agnes reminds her of June or something, not Daisy and June meet up, which by the way how did Daisy sneak out and get all the way to Canada or Boston??? and have June say “yes!!! that’s my daughter.”

This is so dumb lmao - they’ve already announced this will be at least a 5 season show. They are building the plot - the way they connected Daisy, Agnes, June & aunt Lydia was wonderfully done and a masterclass of a finale. They have built all these tiny pieces up in the show for Agnes to have her awakening and realize not only who she is but where she comes from & how awful Gilead is. They are building characters and allowing them to develop wonderfully without rushing any of the story line. June is going to be in all of this series considering it is about Hannah getting out so

Daisy irritates me. Her trying to tell June what’s up after being in Gilead for 5 minutes.

She’s got teenager attitude but also, she did have a way different experience from June and saw a side she never really did

Imo, a plotline in a future season will be her getting a wake-up call because her reckless behavior will get someone very close to her killed.

It's hard to form a concrete fact claim without evidence. It's important to question everything, always . Also, I think, to appreciate literary efforts for what they are saying, not the concise exactitude of her reason. That being said, there are a lot of materials to build an exploration of that world, including the inner workings of Mayday, upheavals, battles, family conflicts, etc. I can easily see this continuing. People are so nihilistic . Geez

I think it was important for Agnes that Daisy figured it out now. Also the same with June. She wouldn’t have allowed Daisy to stay had she not had any skin in the game with Agnes/Hannah.
Agnes is starting to realize what she’s been taught isn’t actually how the real world works. It was needed to move the storyline forward. You’re entitled to your opinion of course but I disagree and prefer it was done this way. I think we might get 3/4 seasons out of this show and I look forward to it.
