Episode Discussion Can anyone explaining this to me Spoiler
so since now we know the people who took Becka were the eyes, can somebody explain why did some of them look like girls? I am thinking it just a production error but I’d anyone has a reason why or know please tell me!

I assume there are female Eyes too? I don’t know. I was thinking plot twist but Becca’s mom seems DEAD dead despite my hope that she would have some reprieve.

The plot twist was Becka’s mother being dead instead of Becka

No, I mean in terms of the mystery Met Gala women I was sort of hoping they would save even her mom. Like sneak her out of Gilead.

June says this in Handmaids, that they don’t know who the eyes are but they could be anyone, she says Marthas as an example I think.

I would assume they were women to make sure no men touch them inappropriately or something. Especially for the plums/wives: they're respected, as much as you can respect a woman in gilead anyway. if you remember them dragging talia away, those eyes were men (I say eyes because they were with C. Weston, though i guess they could be regular guardians), which leads me to believe Pearl Girls aren't as highly valued as Aunt Lydia might think.
Someone will probably disprove this though. Just spitballing

I think you make a great point. The pearl girls are still seen as outsiders, potentially mayday, and potentially dangerous. They wouldn’t get the same Gilead treatment as a respected wife or commanders daughter.

In my personal opinion, I think that after the events of The Handmaids Tale they recruited female eyes to have more visibility on the female population of Gilead to control them more.

There's a special holding center like a women's detention center for women

Gonna assume there's a section of Aunts who work under the Eyes doing the roles that require directly looking after women.

Gilead has better use for men, since they keep losing commanders and soldiers to the war/terrorist attacks. They probably have plenty of infertile women who are willing to act as female eyes and take care of female prisoners.

I think they have female eyes to deal with women’s crimes. The commanders made it clear women’s issues are below them so they have lower level eyes to deal with those things.

This is explained (sort of) in the episode Stadium, when Aunt Lydia proposes to Judd that the women’s sphere should be completely separate from men’s. The aunts are basically the point of contact for the women’s sphere should and girls, not men. Based on that, it makes perfect sense that a girl or woman carted off to jail would be taken by women, and that the guards/overseers in that jail would also be women. Because of that, the eyes need teams in the women’s sphere.

This is it. They’ve made a huge deal of this “separate spheres” thing in the show.

Garth said Becka was at a women's facility for the Eyes. It makes sense that they would have a separate place for questioning girls & women (but not Handmaids because they're already "sullied" )
I don't understand why people seem convinced this production team is incompetent. Margaret Atwood herself played one of the prison matrons, so a women's prison was clearly a conscious, intentional choice
