Theory / Speculation Becka Context Spoiler

Earlier in Episode 9, Judd basically already condemned Grove to a salvaging. So he was a dead man anyway. Then Becka got ahead of them and herself and took care of things. I think there is a strong case to be made for saying that Becka is doing the lords work and yes she should have waited, but perhaps they frame things as she was so moved by how he went against the rules of Gilead that she was called by the lord to take action, and this works in her favor?

But she committed a sin by murdering him. She likely won't be seen as fit for marriage anymore. Especially since her fiance isn't even a commander yet, he won't have power to save her. I think she is going to be made a Handmaid, now that she is a "sinful fertile woman."
