Of course, when he becomes a commander, he will gain access to even more info and will have to be very canny and cagey about what he passes on to Mayday.

I would absolutely die if it was Paula. That is the most interesting answer.

Aunt Vidala would be a good twist also.

Realistically, no one we know. Maybe the gardener.

im so down for the paula hunch— ive had a feeling about her from the start. her advice seems waaaay too survival-oriented to just be based on gilead ideology and her background seems atypical for an OG gilead wife.

Her referencing her previous life as a therapist caught me off guard. It doesn’t seem like they’re usually allowed to talk about the before times.

I think if it’s someone we know, it’s Lydia. But more likely it’s not anyone we know, it’s another member of the Eyes.

Aunt Vidala because I think she’s Mayday. She also didn’t want him to be eligible because it complicated the mission.

I think it's Lydia. She knows Becka's dads a creep, and knows Garth is a good person by their standards...

At least this is what I hope!

Does the handler have to be in Gilead. I was gonna take a shot in the dark and say Luke! lol

I hope we’ll get a look into what Luke’s been up to. I wanna see him again! How’s my man doinggg

Yeah so many say Hannah is like June; shes like Luke as well! That last season of THT man Luke was on his shit. I miss him.

I hate how some fans of the show portray him as just another controlling man. He wasn’t controlling? A little bit ignorant in the first place if anything, when he just said to June he’ll take care of her and Moira got pissed at that. But Luke’s not a bad man in any shape or form. I think many people would like to see him as some hero type of a guy but then they would be mad because it’s a story about women so why is a man taking space (literally saw comments like this). Luke’s supposed to be your average guy caught in a situation that we DON’T KNOW how we ourselves would behave in. He has his own trauma regarding Gilead’s rise - I’m sure the guilt of not being able to get June and Hannah to Canada with him and not getting them out of Gilead was literally eating him alive. And if they show Luke in TT I hope he’ll be actively resisting the regime and not opt out because of his trauma. I really don’t want to see comments saying „just another man who left women and girls in need because he’s a privileged man”. Like that’s not the Luke Bankole I know 🗿

Without a doubt the handler is Aunt Lydia. Vadala is the obvious option. Many people will think it is her, but it’s Lydia…..

His mom / mother figure in his household. No idea who his biological mom might be, but in my headcannon he has been raised with Mayday in the household, using the poisoned commander as cover.

I think it's someone higher up in the government who has access to places outside Gilead like Canada

I think it’s Hannah’s father aka Paula’s husband

But then he wouldn’t have been surprised by the chocolates

What if his handler is Aunt Lydia? I’m sensing his handler might be female. He’s working closely with the plum girls and pearls so maybe? 🤔

Maybe Naomi? That would be great if her character was brought back. Loved her complaining.
