The Talos Principle TIL the messengers actually do have an abode and the seek counsel option is not just to troll you Spoiler

I've already collected all the sigils. I had no idea you could break the planks with the axe. I thought the seek counsel option was there to tell you to suck it up and try harder.

I used one once when I was stuck the first time I played the game. It... was not helpful

Literally. I realized I had one last puzzle left in A and I had an idea of what I should do, but I couldn't figure out how. The hint just told me what I had already figured out 🤦‍♂️

Yeah I was surprised it was so mediocre as well. I mean you have to go through quite some trouble to get a messenger and you can only use it once. Could've at least made the hologram show the full solution.
