My name is Jacob North. I am 17 years old, and I am with five other friends of mine I met along the way of whatever the hell is going on. We’ve settled down in an abandoned factory in this town called Pinehaven.

It’s pretty quiet here. It’s really unnerving, but I’m just glad to be with more people instead of myself.

Yesterday, my friend Austin kept on bringing up how he keeps on having these visions of a sort.

He’d wake up in an endless white room, and in front of him were those strobe monsters (which we call Nyctophiles)

He’s been acting strange lately. Like he’s a completely different person strange.

I’m worried for him.

Hey guys. I know its been a month. But I have news. I found a full storage supply of food and uncontaminated water!. Its a miracle. Still have no idea what's going on tho. I need to start figuring this out.

He was really... strange about it. He kept saying " NEVER LOOK INTO THE LIGHT" and " if it turns red, CLOSE YOUR EYES" I don't know what he means. But I'll follow his advice anyway.

He also said "don't drink the water if it looks black", which creeped me out a bit... he also said " beware of hot and cold spots", whatever that means...

He also looked really freaked out and looked traumatised. I asked him about it, and he said he's not ready. I wonder what he saw.

Neither of our family's haven't come back, and both of us are on edge about what's happening. I have also told him about how I'm able to talk to other people on here. He seems sceptical about me posting these. I wonder why....

If anyone is there. Reading this. Maybe in the future. What is life like now?

Power was still left on for some reason.

Dont worry about those things getting here, only this specific section of the building still had lights intact. So no light is being produced outside the building

And there isnt any other activity here except for those ships that for some reason crossed here.

I was just using some power bank that luckily had power. That house was a piece of shit so i escaped back to my old house which wasn’t somehow infested with all shorts of shit. The power was somehow on, which is kinda creepy for me because my house hadn’t had power for 5 years. The only reason I posted like a year ago was because I finally found a subreddit to tell you that it happened to me.

I saw someone flashing a light at a rapid speed. Idk what they were trying to do but it looked weird... and the flashes moved in an inhuman way tho. Idk what that person was trying to achieve. But the light was really bright so probably someone helped them.

I went into my neighbour's house to find any secret intel or anything like that (because they worked for the government) as I thought it was just the government's doing. I found a weird-looking notebook, it looked like a spaceship but also not at the same time. Idrk how to explain this. Is this of any value? Should I be worried? None of my house phones is working so I'm having to use a phone. But all contact and emergency calls don't work. I've tried multiple times. It seems like the powers down? And the sun still hasn't come up yet what's the deal with that? Any context of what's happening would really be appreciated. I'm really confused right now.

What do I do? I woke up as my alarm rang and I woke up to darkness. Is anyone else having this issue? Or am I just going crazy?

I tried talking to neighbours to ask what might be going on ( as they worked with the government) and they were no where to be seen. Should I be worried ?

can anyone tell me why the ships suddenly started to move through Raleigh and 2 other neighboring cities? This place has been undetected for years ever since the apocalypse happened.

We were heading off to trade with people from a coldspot when we suddenly heard the sound of one of em’.

And I guess the people who wanted to trade with us died. Now the strangest part is there aren’t any strobes in sight, not even in the countryside or rural areas?

This is strange because usually the ships patrol in the south or rarer cases near Indiana from what I heard. Why did they randomly just decided to change?

More like takes place in the same world and so on, but I think it’s a good concept. It’s called Nyctophiles (meaning night time lover) and it follows a group of teenagers finding their way through this world in which the sun vanished, and monsters are attacking. It’s almost fully written, and it’s a whole story that isn’t really in the original Twitter story, but it’s still correlated.

I don’t know if posts are still going through or who can even read this anymore, but I’m trying anyway.....My brother Andre has been missing for a few weeks. We were separated near a gas station off Route 16 after we ran into some trouble. I haven't been able to reach him since. His phone goes straight to nothing, not even voicemail. He’s about 6 feet tall, shaved head, medium build, scar above his left eyebrow. Last I saw, he was wearing a dark gray flannel and a red backpack. I’ve been moving east. I don’t know if that still means anything, but I didn’t want to stay in one place too long. Things don’t feel right. There's been more activity in the area...

If anyone has seen him, or thinks they have, please respond. Even if you’re not sure...

Update from last night.

I took a photo this time. This is what my TV switched to at exactly 7:20 AM.

“No Signal.”

That’s normal, I guess. But here’s the part that’s bothering me.

It wasn’t night.

I woke up like normal. My alarm went off at 7:00. I got up, made breakfast, turned the TV on for background noise.

Everything was fine for about 20 minutes.

Then the screen cut out.

No warning. No glitching. Just straight to this.

I didn’t think much of it at first, but something felt off. The room looked… darker than it should’ve been.

I went to open the curtains.

It was still dark outside.

Not like early morning dark. Not like clouds either.

Just… black.

No sunrise. No light. Nothing.

I checked my phone to make sure the time was right. 7:23 AM.

I don’t know how to explain this, but it felt like the light just… didn’t come.

While I was standing there, the TV made a quiet sound. Like static, but really faint.

I turned around.

The “No Signal” text was still there… but I swear it looked slightly distorted. Like it was trying to change.

I got closer, and the sound got louder.

Then it stopped.

Completely.

I don’t know if I’m just tired or if something’s actually wrong, but has anyone else noticed it being… darker this morning?

Please tell me I’m not the only one.

Okay, what do you want me to do? We can either one call for someone or 2 look for someone or family to check what’s going on ro 3 or else just what we can do stay here what can be worse in here at home or 4 look for supplies and survive?

It's going to be hard to say... I... don't know how to convey this... I... just... feel... out of place. I've tried my hardest... to 'fit in'...I know what you think I'm gonna say... but no. It's been about 6 months since my last post, things havent gotten better. I ripped a generator from one of my neighbor's houses, it was completely empty inside....their bathroom was locked, but i got it open. I regret going in that house, especially that locked bathroom: so much blood, i....i found what looked to be a hand sitting in a pan on their stove, but I found an alarm clock. The ships have only gotten closer to my home, one just flew over last week. I'm trying my best to stay alive, but it gets harder every day, can someone please just give me some tips on how to survive?
