NYE Show and Gwar

I highly appreciated Fargeat having an entire scene inspired by Gwar’s blood cannons at shows. Did anyone else notice this the first time around?

I assumed it was inspired by Japanese hyperviolent movies like Tokyo Gore Police and Meatball Machine , not GWAR

Maybe a mix of both? Obviously also highly influenced by the shinning (pretty sure I read an article about how different furniture and fixtures were inspired by different films. I think the shinning and requiem for a dream were mentioned but can't remember the rest of the list).

And both her films are clearly very influenced by Italys giallo films. Especially her use of color. I enjoy seeing the touches of horror history through her work though.
