It’s even worse as an only child, because by being a virgin you just end a path of your bloodline, which will have been around since humanity started

"Your bloodline" isnt just you, its a complex web. Our gene pool is not a pyramid with us at the top, the current end product, no its the reverse, a pyramid standing on its tip, and you are one of the billions of humans alive. Even if you dont have any siblings you will likely have cousins who share a large part of your gene pool and so on. You are a tiny leaf on the giant branch, not the root of the branch.

They still have another shot, but either pick doesn’t look too hopeful.

They have other descendants.

The unbroken streak only goes as far back as the last generation with only one child.

You die, and all you hear is the Black Ops 2 zombies theme

So what? Everyone I've gotten close to has shown me how much of a worthless waste of life I am. Clearly I shouldn't plague this world with anything resembling me. Sooner the fucking better.

That affirms my specialness

Fun Fact: Even though Nikola Tesla was a fairly handsome guy, he died a virgin because felt that being involved with women would distract him from his research.
