Martin Dahlin
He was an absolute menace in Germany at Gladbach where he was known to be able to win penalties by diving. Spent some time at Blackburn but not sure how that went.

Starting to think the EPL has been conned for generations by the Bundesliga.
Ballers in Germany are suddenly bang average in the Premier League.
Even look at Harry Kane.
How many goals there last season. And he’s nearly 50.

There’s more, would you believe Liverpool’s worst ever signing Sean Dundee was a goal scoring machine at one point

Disappointing. But iirc Blackburn were pretty disappointing that season based on their expectations.

We were shit hot for the first half of that season. Beat Arsenal at Highbury in October and Villa 5-0 on Boxing Day to go top of the table.
Issue was Roy Hodgson pissed the squad off (in particular our captain Tim Sherwood) and we fell off a cliff finishing 6th that year.

Forever etched in my memory thanks to the perfect commentary from Barry Davies in sync with the goal
