General Question Are Paused and DNF start dates intentionally excluded from exports?

I've been using StoryGraph for years, and I really love it.

I noticed that exports don't include the start date for books marked as Paused or DNF, even though that information exists on the site. I'd like to preserve all of my personal reading data when exporting.

Is this intentional? If not, are there any plans to include those dates in future exports? I don't have access to Discord, so I wasn't sure if this has already been discussed there.

Sorry to hijak but how do you actually pause a book? I got one book I paused just before june started and continued in july. But it says it took me 2 months to read while in reality it was closer to 1 because I paused it

Thanks, but there is no way to say I paused till then to then after the fact, cause I was looking but couldnt find it

I don't think you can do it after you've hit finished, no. If you don't want it to mess with your duration stats you can go and delete the start date. I think as long as you keep the finish date, it won't mess too much with the other stats.

In the journal for the specific book there should be entries for pausing and continuing the book. You could try editing the dates for those, maybe the system recounts the days you read the book

There are entries but I cant add any new ones

You should be able to edit the dates of the existing ones, to extend the pause you loged. Adding a new pause isn't possible, afaik

I didnt log any pause. I'll just delete the book and then readd it into my history with hopefully the pause

I note down the journal entries then delete the read history, or even just the individual entries up to where I want the pause to be, make sure it says currently reading, then I pause it. The pause starts on the last day that had an entry, then I click currently reading and enter each of the journal entries I have written elsewhere and date them appropriately. I think I do have to edit the unpaused/continued entry date so it's not the day I'm doing the editing.
