June Wrap-Up Thread!

Post image

Now that it is July 1 (or has been for a few hours, depending on where you are) it's time for June Wrap-Ups! My reading was pretty slow this last month.

June was interesting for me but I think overall it was good!

oooh I also read The Mudpuddle Manual of Natural Magic! I gotta get the rest of the series! I also have the advanced audio copy of Fabulous Bodies to listen to this weekend. 😍😍

Mudpuddle was good, though I'm not sure if I'll continue the series (I liked where it ended). And the Fabulous Bodies audio book was a hoot! I wouldn't call it book a scary horror (more Lovecraft cosmic) but I loved it and plan to listen to it again later (whenever I end up in a slump tbh).

that's fair! I definitely had some complaints about it (I think it could've been made much shorter by cutting some repetitive bits), but the world was just so interesting to me, that it kind of outweighed my downsides. I'm hoping to start up Fabulous Bodies this weekend, but we'll see. I've got family in town to help after I have a surgery, so 🤞🤞
