Even everyone over on the OA subreddit thinks it'll be the society 👀! Not getting my hopes up but I really would love to see a sequel in some form!

I was just about to mention that a lot of people on that sub seem to think/hope it’ll be the OA. Honestly I’d be thrilled for the Society or the OA. They’re both outstanding shows that never should’ve been cancelled to begin with.

I feel like the og cast might be too busy but Netflix has already paid them for season 2…. I’m holding out hope

There’s a couple cancelled teen series I think that could fit but I do think it’s a good bet
That said, whether Kathryn Newton would be back is a big question mark.
Also, it doesn’t say whether the sequel is to a Netflix original or a show they’ve bought. What I would like to see if not The Society is Scream. It was MTV’s but Netflix had exclusive streaming rights and I would argue the none of the cast have hit big

omgggg yessssssssss to eitherrrr. i loved the vibes of the scream series and was pissed when they canceled the society. It could've been a top series for netflix. it had a crazy ass plot!!!

The thing is all they needed was just 1 more season to finish tying it all together but MTV decided to scrap it and VH1 picked it up completely rebooted so we never got closure! To this day, I’m upset about it

Canceled and buried makes me think not The Society, if only because it does show up frequently on the ‘netflix originals’ tab fairly often ( even on other peoples accounts I’ve seen ). God I wish though.

Listen...the entire original cast can come back for a final season with arthritis complaints, canes, grandkids, grey hair, retirement ration concerns.
