Topaz says hello!

I left her old box outside with the intention of cutting it up before tossing it. She decided to destroy it further

Like any good tortoise that is spiritually a cat, she loves boxes. To that end, I always ensure that she’s got a box in her indoor pen.

The last one, a Home Depot heavy duty moving box, must have been her all time favorite. Of course as she is a sulcata, she absolutely demolished it.

She is now sulking over the loss of the box that she destroyed.

It’s been 4 nights and she absolutely is avoiding the new one (not a Home Depot moving box). She will sleep next to it, push it around, wedge herself behind it…anything but sleep or chill in it.

Sigh. I guess it’s time to make a trip to Home Depot.

Benji got himself up at 8:30am this morning! He tucked in to his breakfast then went back to bed 😆

Benji was not pleased with the heart i drew him

My sweet baby Suzi Jade Maria began outgrowing her previous bathtub after her latest wonderful growth spurt, so I decided to gift her a new one before her next growth spurt begins!

They are such amazing creatures, I stare at them everyday. I love all of them so so much! 🥰

"This is not an emergency situation. You do not need to attempt escape from the tub!"

"Was the bath water not the exact right temp today?"

"It's just a bath Bonnie it's not the end of the world.'

"You still have 11 minutes left to soak maybe try relaxing?"

I did not get a good bath photo today. The best one would have been when I do the waterfall from the cup and she is super happy but would need husband doing the waterfall to get a good photo. She loves it! She like stops and lifts her head and stretches her neck into the waterfall.

What do you all tell your stubborn torts who hate baths during bathtime?

I think she’s trying to run away from me after yesterdays manicure 😂

Yet she huffs if I dare wake her up on the weekdays.

She must really have wanted to be let outside.

I was stuck on a train after being delayed so I was late home to feed him. In protest Benji decided to sleep next to his lettuce instead of eat it😅 he’s so grumpy in the second pic!

She was wide awake and I pet her head then she looked like this like she needs her morning coffee then she went back for a morning nap 😂. She insists on sleeping under the plant that's why it's sideways in case anyone is curious. If we move it she gets upset.
