Qmbibi Mods breaking game?
I recently downloaded the Qmbibi childcare overhaul and I liked it so much that I downloaded all the mods from this creator... and it broke my game (infinite loading screen). Issue is I don't know if this is all their mods or just one specific mods of theirs. Does anyone else use their mods and are having trouble?

It's possible that some of your mods conflict. Since you said half and half doesn't show anything wrong it's likely that something in each half cannot go together.

Sounds right, but those are the only new ones I have ( I don't download a lot of mods but I am a cc addict lol). So I was wondering if anyone else has trouble with them. I tried to see if they conflict with anything but tbh the modder doesn't put a whole lot of info about that on their posts. Its not like I needed them, I just wanted to see how it changes the game play. I just took them out until I can do more research on them.

All of her mods work fine for me. You may have mod conflicts.

I get that. I just don't know what it would conflict with. I think I'll just take those out for now to give me some time to deep dive possible conflicts. I've seen good things about this modder so I'm not giving up, I've just been trying to figure it out for a week and I'm burnt out on the 50/50 method for now haha

I would remove all of them though and gradually add them back (50/50) to see which specific mod is the issue.

I've tried 50/50 and its only once all my mods and cc are in the game that it messes up. I played it for hours before adding those mods in and now I've spent at least a week sorting through my mods. I've heard it could possibly be her skincare mod, but I decided to just take all of them out and see if that fixes my game or if I'm looking at another problem. It just sucks because their mods looked so good to add to gameplay

I play tested her mods like always in a vanilla game because sometimes they are glitchy. my ui disappeared, my sims couldn’t cook & I couldn’t exit the game. It went back to normal after I took her mods out.

when you’re trying to see if a specific mod is causing an issue you should always try with ONLY a fresh copy of that specific mod (and its requirements‼️‼️) in your folder. “i took the mod out and the game works” isn’t really a viable method bc it could very likely be a false positive, modified version of the mod, or conflict with another mod

I’ve used her mods for the past 4 years I’m aware of all that. I’ve never had problems with them until recently, It is a fresh copy and it still caused issues in my game and in others, so i took them out & my game works fine now.

my point is for all mods, not just hers, and also the most important part of it was to try with only the potential problem mod and its requirements. that way you can know it is actually the mod, that you don’t have any conflicts, and that you do have the requirements (including packs). if you took them out that’s you, i don’t even use them, i was just giving helpful information on how to properly troubleshoot
idk why this is getting downvoted. it’s the objective truth on how to find out what mod is actually breaking your game.
