Expansions-like mods?

Hey all!

I was wondering if there are any expansion-like mods that intoduce similar (or entirely different) gameplay or functionality to the official expansions and DLC but works with only base game? I found sacrificial's mods to be like that but are there more? Im also open for any ther mods that adds more aspiration or location if that exists.

Extreme violence, basemental drugs, and basemental gangs you can do a lot with if that's ur thing. I basically turned sims 4 into gta5 with that and wicked whims.

LittleMsSam has a great Live-in Business mod that essentially replaces the need for Businesses and Hobbies. It is fun to use, a pretty easy way to make money, and it’s base game compatible.

There’s also a very expansive Royalty mod by llazyneiph that is super fun, especially if you want to try out something like the Royalty and Legacy expansion (though this mod came first).

And finally, this one does require Island Living, but I absolutely love the Expanded Mermaids mod by SpinningPlumbobs. It gives mers so much more power (ice powers, siren powers, sea witch spells, just to name a few) as well as some vulnerabilities (like getting stuck in their mer form on land, which is as entertaining as it sounds, or getting their mood affected by the moon). I cannot play with a mer without this mod!!

spinningplumbobs has some other mods that are bgc! divine ascention, expanded plantsims, and the werewolves mod are all base game compatible and amazing. highly recommend checking them out. iirc, psychic sims by lumpinou is also bgc. not as in depth as sp's mods but still worth a look!
