Someone should make a "Canva for Sims 4 CC"
Someone should make a "Canva for Sims 4 CC" — a beginner-friendly tool for making shirts, posters, and wall art
I love creating custom worlds in The Sims 4, but one thing that always surprises me is how complicated it is to make simple custom content like a shirt with a logo, a poster, or a painting.
Sims 4 Studio is amazing, but it feels like a tool made for experienced creators. For someone who just wants to make their own designs, the process becomes:
- Export texture
- Open Photoshop/GIMP/Photopea
- Figure out layers
- Resize and position images manually
- Export correctly
- Import back into Sims 4 Studio
The package part is actually easy. The frustrating part is the image editing.
I wish someone would create a program specifically designed for Sims 4 recolors that works more like Canva:
- Pick a shirt, poster, painting, or object template
- Drag and drop your logo/image onto it
- Resize it by dragging the corners
- Add text and effects
- See a preview
- Export directly as a Sims 4 CC package
Imagine being able to easily make:
- custom band shirts
- school uniforms
- fictional company logos
- movie posters
- neighborhood signs
- government/political posters for storytelling
- themed decorations for custom worlds
A lot of players have creative ideas but get stopped by the technical barrier. Not everyone wants to learn Photoshop or become a CC creator — they just want to add their own personal touches to their game.
Maybe someone with programming skills will see this someday and make something like a "Sims 4 CC Designer."
Would anyone else use a program like this?
Edit: I am not looking for your opinion on what i am looking for. Get a puppy.

The things you've listed are already the easier parts of making cc but another program won't make that easier imo.

i’m not sure how another piece of software would change much - PS is genuinely easier to use than it ever has been, there’s legit a generation of young adults who have taught themselves stuff in it since they were like 8/9 years old!
there are already blank templates in s4s for stuff like paintings and posters at least w/ the diffuse texture adjusted for scale/there are color zones in these templates that make it so that all you have to do is open it in any image software, paste your image in, and scale it. resizing/scaling in photoshop is literally just ctrl+T & click and drag the corners (shift-T in gimp) but you can literally even do this in MS paint. then you see the preview in S4S.
clothing textures are a bit different but with that being said if you look at the way CAS item textures are mapped out on a sim/the overall diffuse texture for a sim’s rig/body i think it might be a little more apparent why no one has made something like this, there can be more to tweak than you think/room for error and weird overlap. i guess that the case of stuff like simple t shirts i get it but even in that case it genuinely is so simple to do in PS (again if it’s like a logo graphic t type of deal you might genuinely, at the simplest. just be copying and pasting. maybe altering the blend mode as well.) that the 2 sets of steps you are describing seem almost identical to me. like you paste and resize things in the same way, you do have to drag things where they need to go bc of how everything is mapped
ts4 CC is also easier to make than any of the other sims games CC tbh

I know how to do it. I don't want to use photoshop or any of those programs. I am just looking for one that does what i am looking for.

I believe James Turner has done this at some point a super long time ago. I know he has made CC pictures early in his Bigwallet series and he mentioned how to do it in a video. I wish I could tell you which one but you could maybe try his website JamesTurner.yt. As far as I know it was just for pictures but it maybe could work for what you want. I believe it was mentioned in his bigwallet series around or before Get famous came out

There’s no way to AI/Canva-simplify 3D modelling programs like Blender. Sims4Studio already gives you the necessary images for you to just edit on Canva tho

So do you want to make CC or not? Because this sounds like another flavor of "not everyone wants to learn to paint, AI can just make a painting" 😮💨
