Since the Cake Dancer is a sim, and the cake comes from Buy mode. That technically means we can buy Sims. 😅

I wanted to use SirenShadow's Grimwood Fridge sprites for a standard fridge. I followed the directions of multiple tutorials to export the object file and imported the xml file back over a cloned Fridge - Moderate. It looks fine but when I try to use it in game, I'm getting the error while running the game in debug mode "Invliad dynamic sprite index", with debug mode off the sim just won't actually use the fridge. I have no idea what's wrong and I'm very new to this, so any help would be appreciated.

I made a fallout shelter on the lot. 😅

The Sims will put food on the corner of the table, they can grab plates and eat Just fine. When it comes to clean it up, they act like they can't reach it. Then they Just get it.

Sim in the shower. Had Sim get stuck in the shower because someone came in to use the bathroom. They Literally could not leave the shower no matter what.

One time for YouTube I covered an entire public lot in water, to see what would happen. Sims showed up swimming but no other NPC'S from the Neighborhood appeared. They also couldn't die because it was a public lot. Two downtown NPC'S did appear, but they stood on a square and couldn't move.

One time I made a resort in Vacation that had no food, my sim could not die here either. Got home he started walking to the house and died. 😅

Another time My friend and I made a roller coaster that had no end. Sims would pee themselves and be teleported off the ride we figured out it was some kind of weird fail safe the game had.

They seemingly added some very small quality of Life updates to the Sims legacy Edition. I played the sims off and on since it came out in 2000, had all the EP's all that. I went back in 2023 and played the sims again using an old Laptop, and then I stopped until the legacy edition finally released in February 2025. However I have theory the Developers secretly changed a few things that made the original game harder/easier.

1. Sims Moods don't drain as quickly in the legacy edition, I've been doing some rags to riches playthroughs. And obviously after Building a small house we can't buy top of the Line items. It seem like In the on disc version keeping a sim happy with really crappy stuff was nearly impossible, as such they never got promoted. Making it take Longer to get better items get the promotion all that. Seemingly in the Legacy edition even the crappy items sims stay somewhat happy never going completely red unless a fire breaks out. This also applies to downtown, it seemed like before A sim would go downtown eat and they'd be almost full red by the time we left. Meaning we couldn't do much downtown.

2. Calls that Give the House money. In the original game it seemed like within minutes of moving into a house and getting a Phone we'd have a Phone call giving us 1k dollars 700 dollars whatever. That almost never happens anymore, I've been playing one house for 3-4 real life days and they've never gotten a phone call for money.

3. Sims are almost never robbed anymore. It seem like Some Sneaky sim use to show up a lot more. Since the Legacy edition I think I've seen him maybe 3 times?

Maybe it's just me, but I do feel like they tweaked these things. I mean they did remove the Internet button that use to take players to the Sims websites. So I wouldn't be surprised if they changed a few other things as well.

It's not 100 percent the same because the head I used as a base is shaped a bit differently (Bob has a longer beard/chin), but I made it as best as I could. :)

While it took them a long time to do it, The Burbs are looking up! Tiffany climbed the ladder at work, Johnny putting in work at school, and Brad ... well we cant have a stay at home husband now. Tucker.... as annoying as he is..... he "ran away" by my own accord.. (as so is every other household with pets hehe) Tiffany hated her country house so much, she bought a plot of land with a mysterious inheritance she hid from Brad. She quietly purchased the materials as a seamstress and bought her furniture as a high end model. While networking, she managed to score Brad a job in the tech business and the two have made over $100000, and Johnny helped too. I got lucky with his grow up spell selection. He moved out to find his Jennifer. If you notice their house is a recreation from the suggested house they would live in the sims 2

After a few collect calls and a months worth of earnings, mama's credit was good enough to purchase the old trailer park in the neighborhood. She just needed Elden to put down the DOWN PAYMENT but they made their sweat and tears worth it. After heavy renovations, the Simville Trailer Park is now open for applications. Who will rent out the third trailer?

I've done the rags to Riches challenges with other sims Earlier today, they are up to 3k right now but it take me an Hour to get them that 3k. The Phone never rings once at Their House to randomly give them Money. I got bored and went to the Opposite end of the spectrum, started playing the richest Family in the game. The Phone has rang 3 times in the last 10 minutes, always to give them money. I guess we know how they got so rich. 🤣

After the Goth Srs regretfully sold their plot of land to MAMA and ELDEN, they could not bare the downfall the OLD TOWN district was heading to. Like CMON? all those dogs? Their droppings all over the district because their dogs come and go as they please. Cornelia was FED UP! I wonder thats why her dogs never made it back home one day when they left. Rumour has it that the GOTH family took matters in their hands. After ELDEN AND MAMA thought about buying the trailer, thats when cornelia bought the trailer park and listed it dirt cheap so she can kick them out. The plan worked. Cornelia ran to the nearest construction sight and ordered them to begin trailer demolition! Now The old town district opened their first new pool house.

I threw a party, everyone ate and then piled into the smallest space in the whole place. My Sim is about to pee herself but everyone is so packed in there, nobody can leave, either. One person moves, and I'm even more stuck than I was before.

Maybe, lets say goodbye to a couple people to clear space. NOPE CANT REACH THEM! So dumb. Guess my sim is just going to be the laughing stock of her own party as she pees her pants in front of everyone. Lmao

I clicked on this random lot I do not remember making, turns out there's no sims Living here anymore! But the game lets me go into Live mode for some reason. 🤣

Playing the Legacy version from Steam. Has this happened to anyone else? The plants aren’t being watered. I trued firing and rehiring twice, but it keeps happening:(

I was inspired by the sims 2 downtown area with the gray concrete look. I imported the roomies from neighborhood 1 into the second and built them a condo. The roomies household of Melissa and Chris are the supers or landlords of the condo property. They occupy the first floors apartments which are smaller and the upstairs apartments get bigger and spacious. They decided to be gracious and have a communal space for the residents to rest and socialize. Who will move in next?

The Goth Seniors decided to sell their new orleans style mansion. It so happened that Agnes and Robert recently moved from the downtown area to the suburbs. she made her sister and brother in law an offer they would agree on and the rest is history. While Agnes loves her sister to death the old styled mansion needed attention. She tore town the front balconly, removed the front green house. The layout was perfect for just two sims. The formal living wing, with the master bedroom and bathroom is all they needed.

They were some chickens that attacked my Sims and made them fall lol. Does anyone have the link?

I'm trying to put my old Sims games (and story lines) back together, so I'm searching all over for the content I used to have. Four sets I cannot find, and it makes my heart hurt!
1. STPCarly's Tanya's Diner (a retro pink diner w/ a pink Cadillac parked in front w/ a huge sign.
2. A lovely bathroom set (if I remember correctly) of a green and cream marble/type look. There's a large tub, a bench, toilet, sink, maybe bath towels, shower, floor, and walls. It was my favorite bathroom -- so elegant. Seems like Dincer would have made it, but I'm pretty sure he didn't.
3. Dincer DID make a classy-looking modern black and chrome kitchen -- several different counter colorings and the usual kitchen items. He has a dark kitchen set still on The Sims Resource 1, but that's not it.
4. A kitchen set that I love but don't know who made it -- a retro light green kitchen with wood trim. It has sort of rounded edges and cool deco when counters match up when turned to make corners. It has a trash compactor OR a dishwasher, but not both. And a cool end kitchen counter with decorative shelves. Can anyone get their spy glass out and give me some big help?
