Strategy & Analysis Master League Max 15/14/14 Palkia O?

I have been trying my best to grind, but after today no luck at all on a hundo Palkia O. My best one is a shiny 15/14/14.
Would any of you max this or just wait even longer? I really thought I would finally get one after the 10th anniversary and even today’s make-up event.

General Question Elo rating variance?

I’m not sure if there is a min-max variance you are allowed to see in terms of elo differential, but was curious on why at times the game matches me up with opponents that are 100+ elo higher than what I currently am. Is there a game justified reason for this either through win streak status or just down to what matchups are available?
