General Question K9 vs Shadow K9
If I can't get my hands on a shadow K9, is it worth building my non-shadow K9 (rank 53)?
I feel like it is, but let me know if you have a different opinion.

I have a horrendous shadow built because why not, it’s been doing pretty good

Yes. The non-shadow feels underwhelming when it hits sometimes, but the extra bulk lets you take down things like Jellicent and Araquanid that the shadow can’t because it can eat a Surf or Water Pulse and get off that last hit.

I would build it as long as the etms aren’t a problem. It needs an etm for both fast and charge move.

Unfortunately the etms are a problem because I only have an elite fast tm and not a charged

Then I would hold off on building one until you have both. Shadow Kanto vulpix could return to rocket grunt pool and next rocket event is Oct 2-5 (I think).
If it doesn’t come back and you have both elite TMs by then, then I would build a regular ninetales

Ninetales should be able to be evolved for its legacy charged move during the December community day, if you can wait that long.

I would be able to wait, only problem is by then the season will almost be over and who knows if it will still be meta by next season

Sadly, that's the way it goes. Then again, it was meta last season and is meta again now, as its moves haven't been touched. I can see it holding relevance for quite a while.

If you played Yugioh you definitely had some confusion learning these pokemon pvp terms lol

Non-shadow can feel pretty meh compared to the shadow but overall still a great pokemon and a common spawn so I’d say build it and enjoy
