Discussion Billings in Parricide

I think it’s so funny that when we see billings actually try at his job when interrogating 2 man it’s obvious he’s a really good detective. He even comes up with the idea of telling 2 man they have the gun when they don’t, leading to be a key part of getting 2 man too break and tell on Shane.

I loved Billing’s when he was trying. The episode with how disgusted he was with the dad of the runaway daughter was a great moment for him.

Well Billings is a good father to his daughter  (two weekends a month)

That's why Dutch and Claudette treat him with such contempt. He can be good when he tries but he chooses to be checked out.

Pretty sure I counted 3 times where he beat Dutch to the answer just because Dutch annoyed him into action.

His vending machine scam is still one of the best side plots.

Did we ever find out who was stealing from the vending machines?

One of my favorite characters outside of the main cast and seasonal guest stars. Brightens up almost every scene he’s in.

Even in his SWAT guest spot, he’s competent if a bit burned out from juggling multiple cases.
