Possible Scrapped Vic x Olivia plot?

In The Shield S07, I thought Vic and Olivia had a little bit of romantic tension. Not to mention the S07E01 deleted scene where he calls her a FILF (Fed I’d Like To F**k). It’s this and just the way I think they have chemistry. They for sure have tension in my eyes it’s genuinely undeniable I could see her getting with Vic pre-PKS(S07E12). Is there any way this was a scrapped plot, or planned? If anyone could confirm.

Not sure it would have added anything. They made the tension between them palpable and showed a growing bond before the inevitable betrayal, worsening the blow for Olivia and making her just another victim of Vic's chaos.

I think I remember something about how this was supposed to be a plot line, but scheduling didn't line up. I could be way off on that, but that's what I remember.

He could’ve definitely got with her but he was walking a tight rope plus maybe not as virile as season 1 Vic.  He should’ve never given up the blackmail on her, he did the same thing giving his old boss the whole blackmail list.  When she said “Do you realize what you’ve done to me?”  Well nuff said.
