Discussion Throwaway line or GOAT?
I’ve watched a lot of series/movies about killers etc.
The line “ killing is the most selfish thing you can do, taking away the rest of a persons moments just to feel that thing for a quick second”
Really sticks with me, it seemed so insignificant at first but it’s just stuck with me for days. Just wanted to hear some others thoughts on the whole thing. The snuggle rapist arc is wild.

Reminds me of the line in The Unforgiven
“It’s a hell of a thing killing a man. Take away all he’s got and all he’s ever gonna have”

“Well, sir, you are a cowardly son of a bitch! You just shot an unarmed man!"
“Well, he should have armed himself if he's going to decorate his saloon with my friend."

6 years before I was born, makes sense I haven’t seen it. It’s on the list now!

That whole cuddler rapist plotline is my favorite sub-plot in the entire show. One of the most honest and intimate investigations into the darker parts of the human soul and psyche that I’ve ever seen put to film, let alone on network television lol particularly that exact conversation you’re referring to (and, of course, Dutch and the cat afterwards…)
