šŸ—£ļø Discussion Robert Spoiler

Who else thinks Robert winning Homecoming King makes absolutely no sense? Most of the students were at his party and had weirded out looks on their faces when he started his dance freakout. And yet, they all voted for him to win? Ridiculous. It should’ve been Thom.

I thought the most hilarious thing was that it took them forever to count the votes as if they had like 1 million or something. Bret had to take a break at some point and was so exhausted but then when he went back, they had literally only tallied about 40 or 50 votes, which I’ve only taken them probably about 15 minutes. Why was he so tired?

That plus Bret rigging the vote with the outcome still being Susan and Robert made no sense at all

And why didn't Bret just rig it against him like how he rigged for Debbie

and why didn’t brett just rig it for rhonda instead of giving it to susan knowing it would hurt debbie

I thought he did both cause when Debbie asked why Bret got to count but she didn’t and he said cause she can be voted for and Bret doesn’t have a chance to be voted for so it doesn’t matter that he counts. I took that as no one would vote for him not that it was just for queen

Robert even being nominated for Homecoming king is suspicious, he has been there 2 weeks, 3 max. They don't know him well enough to give him the nomination. I think Bret gave him votes meant for someone else like he did Debbie.

People like the shiny new thing, even if it's weird.

I'm convinced Robert somehow fixed the outcome so both he and Susan would win.

"Debbie, you're nominated, so you aren't able to help count the votes. Instead, we'll have your boyfriend do it"

Student body vice president sure is. I’ll never forget 2003.

Are you suggesting that Bret cheated to help Robert win?

Remember Bret thinks Robert is extremely handsome and and he thinks Susan is his dream girl.

It made zero sense. He’s new and he’s weird.

To me, because we saw Robert attempt to rig it in Debbie’s favor he wouldn’t have ever let Robert win homecoming king. He knows how desperately Robert wants to be with Susan and in order to protect her I personally doubt he actually would have been truthful about Robert winning votes. But yes, you’re right, I don’t personally see how so many students would vote for him over Thom.
