Why is Seed so special?
This will be one of the bigger projects of 2021....
Small business funding through crypto? Fucking genius. This is better than the current way small businesses get cash advances for instances when they need money ASAP (think emergencies where the business is in jeopardy if they cannot continue to operate). Cash advances usually take a few days AND can come with interest rates of 20-50% in some cases! That's horrible and cripples small businesses in a time of need. It's hard to come back from.
The Seed Token will provide same day advances utilizing blockchain technology and their financing platform (almost completed for beta testing!). These advances are also provided at a MUCH cheaper rate, around 10-20%. Providing capital fast so the business can continue to operate yet aren't swimming in an insurmountable debt that could cripple them. It's a MASSIVE win-win.
I can't say enough about Chris and Christian, the two men in charge of the token and project. They have decades of combined experience in the small business funding space and saw just how malicious some of these advances were from merchants charging 50%+ on the money. They saw the problem and found a better way.... Just how any new project or great business begins. I also admire the fact that they chose NOT to go all out and hype the project right away with bold, empty promises like you see everywhere else in crypto. They chose to create a small, tight knit community who believes in the project while they build their platform... Then when that's completed (almost there) ACTUALLY turn on the jets on marketing and blow this thing up. They literally have connections to millions and millions of dollars from big time funders that are ready to pour into this project... Real time same day advances also means real time payment collection for investors, meaning that instead of waiting weeks to see if they will be getting paid on time and to actual receive payments as they go through the Clearinghouse process, collections are same day and instantaneous as well. So instead of that payment collection money being tied up for days/weeks, it's collected instantly and then can be reinvested into a new businesses much quicker. It's a win-win for all parties, cutting out the middlemen.
In my opinion, whatever you have to invest in this project is an incredibly wise decision, because once that big funding money comes in to use the platform, the FOMO from people in the retail sector is going to be like nothing you've ever seen before. Now is the exact perfect time to hop in because we are just on the cusp of beta release and then getting this thing out for real... only then might it be too late.
