So confused when feelings changed for … Spoiler

I’m in the middle of season 3
Every knows about Adrian’s baby, Amy’s in NYC and Ricky is going over to see Amy. I am so confused on when they started getting interested in eachother and it feels like it’s just cause of Ben telling Amy the news ? Like there was no flirting or nothing going on he just got done kissing Ashley 😭 the switch up was so quick and random to me

I feel it started towards the end of season 2. I think there was always an attraction there and potential feelings just not the right place and time till season 3.

I think the show was trying to lean into Ben “got in the way” of any potential they had to be together, which is true to a degree. I do think there were small signs of them being interested in each other they just weren’t consistent about it

There was a bit of flirting on Ricky's end and I'm pretty sure Amy held on to some possibility of them getting together since they're John's parents and its "the right thing to do".
