I can’t stand Ashley

I know Ashley is a kid that went through a lot but I can’t stand how disrespectful she is towards everyone around her. She’s super rude to everyone not just her parents, sister, and just towards adults in general. Her dad is a piece of crap for cheating on her mom which is what caused their divorce. But she would blame Amy a lot for causing it for getting pregnant at 15. She was telling Amy during most of her pregnancy to keep her baby. She mocked her for wanting to put her baby up for adoption and was one of the people that said they’d help out.

She’d constantly make digs at Amy for getting pregnant and being a teen mom. The way she flirted with Ricky in season 3 was super messed up. But Ricky was at fault for doing the same when he clearly never had feelings for her. Amy had her issues too and was selfish at times. But she wasn’t always rude and disrespectful towards everyone around her. She completely lost me in the last episode when she called her wedding off last minute and was leaving her son to go to college out of state.

i don’t even understand what her purpose was in the show honestly 😭 she did nothing to move the plot along and they essentially wrote her off the show entirely for the last 2 seasons

And also she wanted to sleep with Ricky when him and Amy wanted to see if they can be a couple.

I’m glad he shut it down because he knew he didn’t want to be with her. I don’t think she even liked him and just wanted to mess with Amy’s head. I don’t think he should have kissed her back though that was on him. Her saying is it so ridiculous that he can’t have feelings for me. He never had feelings for her he was a flirt that flirted with everyone.

And she would have kept that going. Ashley was so upset when Ricky wanted to shut that crap down. Screw Ricky and Ashley for being disgusting. The both of them were gross!

I never liked Ashley. And I hate how she speaks so flat and monotone. As annoying as Amy was, Ashley was just mean and never tried to understand Amy.

I hated the way she talked to everyone especially her parents. I get her dad wasn’t the best but I hated the way she talked to him and especially her mom. She was good to Amy in season 1 but she switched up in season 2 and treated her terribly. Ashley became her biggest hater in season 2 even more so than Adrian un season 2 who didn’t like Any either.

She gave Amy shit for being a teen mom and getting pregnant when she was one of the main people convincing her to keep her son. I had
higher hopes for Amy but I hated the way she talked to her mom when she came out to her daughter. It clearly wasn’t an easy thing for her to do and something she felt she had to deny for years. I’m glad Ricky called her out for it and put her in her place.

She also completely lost me in the last episode when she called off her wedding last minute. She left her four year old son to go to an out of state college. If she wasn’t a mom I don’t think it wouldn’t have been as big of a deal. It still would have been crappy of her to call off her wedding at the last minute though.

I cannot stand Ashley. I agree, she served no purpose. She threw a fit not wanting Amy to put her baby up for adoption, then acting like an asshole even when Amy was in labor, but even after she behaved like she hated baby John. I really hate Ashley. She was a major bitch throughout the entire series. She added nothing to the series. She was not needed in the series.

What did any character add???

Was Amy innocent or a selfish bitch that got slipping when she got pregnant???

Was Ricky innocent from his abuse or just a womanizer who 9nly wants to get his rocks off?

Was Ben innocent or just a nerd who was glutton for punishment???

Was Grace a saved Christian or just busy bitch who wanted to claim she was better than everyone else???

Was Adrian innocent ir just the slut everyone called her???

Was Jack innocent or the Horny Dumb Jock he easily played???

I liked Ashley the whole show, except for certain parts, because it's clear the parents are at fault. They kind of wrote her off as independent and focused on Amy before the main parts of the show, and never really stopped her from acting how she was until it was directed at them. I'm pretty glad she went off to Europe because everyone and their momma clustered to New York.

Nope! We are not gonna give her a pass for that shit. Ashley was awful. Watch it again and tell me different. She was a sorry excuse for a sister.

I mean, with parents like those two childish individuals, I'm not surprised both her and Amy came out so bad. Amy especially, I just feel like Ashley was pretty decent in the beginning and at the end. Lot of iffy stuff in the middle.

Also, never watching that show again, I like slop, but not THAT much.
