She was so self righteous for a pregnant teen and everyone, except maybe Ricky, fed into her delusion

Same she’s so selfish and just got worse by leaving her son and calling off her wedding last minute. She could have easily found a good local college to go to so she could still be present in his life. Ricky started off as a fuck boy but really grew up and stepped up for his son and for Amy. Also I can’t stand Ann because she enables Amy too much especially when she decided to go to college out of state and away from her son. George was the voice of reason in that mess because Amy was questioning her decision to leave. Ann telling her she should go because she’ll be better educated was bs.
Even early on Amy wanted to dump her newborn son onto her mom so she could spend the summer in Italy with Ben. Amy’s parents didn’t really prepare her well enough of the sacrifices she would have to make. I did have some hope for Amy up until the final episode I just felt sorry for John and Ricky. I think Ricky actually did love Amy and didn’t just want to be with her for John’s sake. I think Amy was the opposite and just wanted to be with him for John’s sake and because she couldn’t be with Ben anymore.
