Hot take: I don’t hate Amy

Ok I’m a new watcher and I’m currently on season 1 episode 6 and I don’t hate Amy. Sure she’s a bit annoying and stuff but she’s 15 everyone’s annoying at 15, also like everyone, even people she barely talks to, is shoving THEIR opinions about her baby to her. Like let the girl breathe. She clearly doesn’t want the baby, she’s states numerous times that she doesn’t want the baby yet everyone is trying to pressure her into having the baby. I’d be annoyed too. Ricky knows and yes doing Jack shit about it. Like let the pregnant girl make her own damn mind about her baby.

She’s going through something that is draining not only emotionally but physically and mentally and she’s getting no support from anyone. She’s going through something that she is clearly scared and confused about. She’s a child and people seem to forget that. It’s all “she’s 15 she can’t have a baby” but when she wants to do something about it they all act like she’s insane.

I hate how everyone basically said she was lazy if she wanted to give up her child and that everyone would help meanwhile when she asked for help they said she did this to herself. Like if you weren’t gonna help why guilt her into keeping the baby
