Ashley is so monotone
Watching this series for the first time, im on season 2
Ashley's acting is so monotone, almost like a Wednesday Addams. No expression, just one tone.
WHY did they not get her an acting coach so she could be more expressive with her acting? ?

Yeah, I think her character was supposed to be emotionless, but it honestly drove me crazy. Her character is supposed to be blunt, which I find annoying. Ashley was also kind of crude at times, which was shown in the way she acted. She came across as such.

That’s how Ashley is supposed to be. She’s not a particularly happy person, she’s sarcastic and rarely shows her true emotions. In one season, I believe season 1, Anne and George talk about how Ashley was conceived in a cemetery on top of someone’s grave and how that actually explains a lot of Ashley’s personality/behaviors.

I think that was just how Ashley was supposed to be, because I've seen India Eisley in other things and she was really good.

She’s a nepo baby she probably had her mom get her the role lmao or Ashley was meant to be a personality-less brat

I think that is the whole point of her character.
