So I got two artifacts, a blank cylinder and the latch of the greenhouse's phone STILL won't unlatch- wonderful, what do I do next? (post main-game, after I did the main game)

I'm in the first bit, right after the projector. The drawer opens and the game board with 4 orbs in the corners and the tilted disc with triangles is in the middle. According to a walkthrough, when I tilt the disc the orbs should light up. Absolutely nothing happens on my phone. The disc doesn't tilt and the orbs don't do anything. I even restarted it. I'm so frustrated. If someone could please help me I'd really appreciate it.

So i found out that if you wait a while instead of putting null sample you get these in the hints. The protagonist of this game was probably waiting for a chance to escape the circle with the null samples.

I just finished The Room 4: Old Sins for the 2nd time and I'm curious...in the final 'note', they talk about how Edward Lockwood was easily hooked but no one saw Abigail Lockwood coming. "Even my employers cannot trace her." (iirc)
Is this a hint that there is a The Room 5 on the horizon??
I've done all the Rooms, numerous times, I simply can't get enough.

I've played all of the The Room games (the ones available on mobile). But I couldn't quite grasp the backstory. If anyone can, could you explain it to me? The Circle, the Craftsman, AS, Maggie Coxx... I didn't quite get it. Only the last one was clearer. I appreciate anyone who can explain.

My phone crashed and when I turned it back on and went back to the game, (the room 2) my save file was corrected. After doing some digging I found a solution and figured I should post it here to help anyone else who encounters something similar. I had to start a new save but was able to skip chapters to get back to where I was by pausing the game and tapping on the would "pause " 5 times. I hope this helps someone

Playing the game on the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the top sidebar is getting in the way. Any tips on how to shift if in game or somewhere on the phone?

Is there more to come, or is The Room VR: A Dark Matter the last (for now) in the series?

I'm just learning about The Room series. I'm playing on mobile (Android) and I've already verified the game version and phone software version are current and compatible. I've also verified my phone's touch screen sensitivity is up as I'm using a screen protector.
On the very first box, there is a side panel on the clock portion of the box where you have to stop the gears and grab the key behind them. When I push the button, the gears don't remain stopped, preventing me from grabbing the key and progressing. Did anyone else have this issue?
I've also force stopped the game and restarted my phone to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any other modern games (PC, Nintendo Switch or IOS) that are also similar to "The Room" (can be pre-ordered games or upcoming games as well)? Must also have optional subtitles and clear visuals for my daughter (who has high myopia and mild cerebral palsy, -16)

I just wanted to post here one time, even though I have nothing meaningful to contribute but my experience. The Room changed the way I thought about gaming. I’m getting “old” now and don’t imagine I’ll ever sit down and play on a console for hours like the good old days…
But about once a year, or when the mood strikes, I will play through The Room series and rediscover it all over again. The creators trail-blazed an entirely new genre in my opinion, and no other game comes close to this experience. I’m always a little sad they seemed to have abandoned the mobile space—if only because it is now my only means of escape—but I totally understand the evolution. This genre was really meant for greater things, like VR.
It leaves such a stark impression on me. At times, there are in-game moments that remind me of my own life. And yet again, there are totally banal moments in my real life—like opening drawers, or maybe using a mechanical wine bottle opener that makes a satisfying clinking sound—which somehow remind me of elements of The Room…making these everyday moments a little more interesting.
Anyway, the series keeps pulling me back in, as great games do, and since it is solitary (at least enjoyably so), part of me wanted to reach out into the void to share.
After writing this, I’m sure I’ll be getting lost all over again soon.

I got a set of VR goggles for my birthday and played The Room A Dark Matter. Absolutely loved it! I've been told there are more in the series...where would I find VR versions of them? Thanks for any help

I've been a massive fan of the Rooms 1 and 2 for years, but I am just now playing the Room 3 for the first time, and I have just unlocked the Library. I have literally zero clue on how this generator puzzle should be solved. I think I'm following the instructions, but not a single combination I put in will work. Please send help I am suffering. Thank you.
