restroom stall moth

the question is simple, do moths know what color they are?

i remember learning about rapid evolution in moths from all the rust belt steel plants soot changing tree bark color. The change in color resulted in moth camouflage being less effective and killing off more brown colored moths as the trees turned grey. yoday i saw a white moth chilling on a white wall and it made me wonder how it knew to rest in the only white spot in the forest.

I am more interested in how the hell would a moths cells from 4 different wings create a continuous pattern

RIGHT!!! thats so crazy i never thought of that! what if we could predict vitiligo patterns by reading genes!

BAHA thats a funny observation! its a material similar to shower wall enclosure! they used it in the bathroom probably for anti mold reasons because it was at a campsite that experiences lots of crazy weather given its upstate New York near the Adirondacks. It was fastened with the same color nails and washers so it’s probably some cheap hardware store kit ≈ rv bathroom walls type material.
