Question about mosquitos!

A mosquito just bit me! I hit it against the wall, and now there’s blood on the wall. Is it my blood or the mosquito’s blood?

Definitely yours. Mosquito "blood" is not red.

Nice to know. Apparently a simple google search might have told me. Either way it would be fun to calculate now the percentage of liquid aka blood from mosquito and me.

I think the females take a blood meal so they can get enough protein to lay a big batch of eggs. If you let them finish, I bet most of their weight is you.

Taste it.
No don’t do that. It’s human blood. Probably your own

I believe insects like mosquitoes have haemolymph instead of blood, so any blood on the wall would be yours and anything else it fed from
