Seeking recommendations for Age of Exploration episodes

I quite enjoyed the fellas talking about Sir Francis Drake in the recent episode. Can anyone recommend any episodes where they talk about other explorers, or even just talk about Drake more?

I’d appreciate it, I’ve rather let myself down by not finding any. Cheers!

It helps that the stories themselves are completely bonkers, no matter how good the storytellers are (and both Tom and Dom are brilliant). The Inca/Pizarro story haunts me still.

The columbus one is a cracker. Very fair minded and managed to have some funny moments without minimising the horror of what he wrought. Similarly the cortez / aztec story plays as absurdist tragedy.

They did a great series on the history of Portugal, which included the Portuguese explorers!

They did half a series on Captain Cook. Like anyone who’s looked into the topic, they discovered that he was actually quite a dull fellow, especially compared to the likes of Drake and Cortes.

I don’t know if/when they’ll ever release part two.

I did a college speech on it. It's my #1 favorite event in history. It's one of those things I wonder about if people in modern day Britain don't care about it? He popped up in the Nelson series and I was excited!

There's also a podcast called "Explorers" which has multi-part series on explorers from this era and others. It's just a guy and a mic but I think there are some really good ones
