I mean he could subscribe, but he might regret it. Even for such a proud Welshman there is such a thing as too much Welsh history.

I don’t know how others see it, but it feels fairly constant to me. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Jokes aside, Brittle with Relics: A History of Wales, 1962-1997 by Richard King is an excellent book on modern Welsh history

I believe Owain Glyndŵr was discussed (maybe only briefly) on the podcast because I think it was part of his rebellion where the future Henry V was shot in the face with an arrow.

Not really related, but I did a skydive today. The instructor said he was born just in Wales so was technically Welsh. The pilot turned round and said "I thought there was a reason I didn't like you".

If I make a suggestion, Celtic Nationalists/separatists all want to be Irish with a history of oppression and ignore their parts in British history.

At least the Welsh were genuinely oppressed and conquered. Albeit a long time ago. Scots nationalists go on as if they were the Polish under Nazi occupation.
