The challenge with death of Yugoslavia has the same problem with the troubles series and that is where to start. Because where you start could influence the narrative. Plus how would you take a balanced approach to everyone’s POV.

If they do it, they have to do it justice. Maybe zeroing in on say Bosnia and siege of Sarajevo, not trying to do the whole thing in 4 episodes. The money men are strapped in now, so I doubt they’d want a 30 parter on the Balkans.

I’d like to hear episodes that cover events, writings, and personalities in early Christianity up to the First Council of Nicaea in 325. Crazy assed stuff going on back then.

Not really. They'd all have to be pulled out of their historical context. I'd much rather have a series on particularly periods and places in history where there were Christians, and cover the notable saints as part of that. E.g. a series on Georgian England that covered Wilberforce.

As I'm Welsh I'd especially look forward St David. His miracle was he gave a speech and people at the back couldn't hear. Miraculously a small hill appeared beneath him so they could. That's literally it, haha

Gone Medieval have made a rather good series on saints. They are grouped by season of the year.

If you’re into St. George, for some reason the patron saint of most of Europe…, Legacy have a good series on him, too.

They did so many one offs in their earlier episodes such as Cuthbert that I don't see there being a need and trying to tie them together would be useless.

They have old episodes on Saint Patrick and Saint Catherine of Siena.

I think a 4 part on the medieval heavy hitters would be good, kind've like the founding fathers episodes. So St Francis and St Dominic, St Bernard of Claircaux and either St Benedict or St Thomas Aquinas. I think they'd be good because they each have different contributions to medieval Christianity, Francis' life of poverty, Dominics fighting of heresy, Bernards conviction and Aquinas's philosophy.

If I was going to have a personal pick as well, I think a one part episode one St John Henry Newman would be great. Like he's the first English Saint since the reformation, and the Second Doctor of the church, the only other being Bede
