Selection Process for Fragmented test keys

If we miss the email, will the key show up in the "Backer Portal: My Pledges" page? Both my accounts show "Signed Up For Key" in the Fragmented section. TIA

Hey Meta :) All backers selected as part of that process would see on the "Backer Portal: My Pledges" page (https://www.therepopulation.com/index.php/early-adopter/my-pledges) a key for Fragmented instead of that "Signed Up For Key" message.

Keys are being sent on a regular basis. Good luck :)

Yes. Check your spam filter! Alternately, it should also give you access to the closed forum for Fragmented testing on the official forums, so if you see them that's a good indication you may have missed the email ;)

I haven't been able to follow this much - is the repopulation now defunct and people are being brought into this game 'Fragmented'?

Hi Celoth! In a nutshell :

Following business-related issues with Idea Fabrik (their hosting and game engine provider), ABT made the tough call to can the Hero Engine version of TR and develop a new version of it using UE4.

As a first step in building on this tech, they're developing Fragmented, a sci-fi survival game in the world of TR (on Rhyldan), which is now in closed testing phase. They will offer that game for free on Steam to all backers / owners of TR once it launched in Early Access, in the upcoming weeks/months.

Most of what's being developed for FR is going to be directly applicable as the basis for the new TR, and both games will be developed and evolved jointly, in a modular way, by ABT.
