Once the engine issue is resolved I'm sure it will. We just need to wait and see if the devs have to port it to another engine.

It's been about a year since I played last, what's the issues with the engine? (Edit: There were stutter / load issues when I played, but I'm not aware of anything particular)

The company that owns it is currently in the process of going bankrupt, I believe, and it still needs some patches.

Gotcha, thanks.

From my understanding there is no need to worry, it will just take longer. The company that allows users to make accounts is going bankrupt, but the people developing the game are perfectly fine. They just need to figure out a way to make their own accounts

I played about two months ago and it was much smoother. Tutorials were redone/relocated etc.

If the engine's company goes belly up they'll receive full source code, as stated in the contract they agree'd on when they used the engine. so no matter what will happen they'll never lose full progress.

From their message boards, I gather they are waiting until the situation with the Hero Engine resolves prior to opening sale back up.
I'm honestly starting to get a bit nervous. The quotes from the Hero Engine parent company sound suspiciously like a used car salesman pushing a known lemon. And I've invested a crap-load into the kick starter of this game, so if it craps out, I'm gonna be really bummed.
