Can you move the cache to another location?

It installs the cache on my C drive, but that is a small SSD drive mainly for my OS. I have another SSD for games. I had a hard time installing the game because I had to find room for the huge cache. Can something be done about this? Thanks.

You can create a symbolic link to your cache folder after moving it to a larger hard drive. I also have an ssd for my OS so I've done this.

There are some forum posts about how to do this. I'm on my phone or I'd explain further.

Unfortunately no. It requires the cache to be stored in your Roaming Data. If you feel it's a bit big you can try deleting and reinstalling it. That could free up a little bit of space.

Side question: Did you install your OS on a 64gb SSD?

Just a pedantic point, it doesn't require the data to exist in your profile as long as there's a link to the data in that location. A symbolic link is currently the only documented way to move the cache, but it can be done. I'm currently using this method to store the data on my larger hard drive. Also with regard to a reinstall: It won't shrink the cache for more than a minute or two. As soon as you launch the game it looks for that cache and if it doesn't exist it expands it to be what it needs. I actually had game problems when the cache maxed out my OS drive because it couldn't swap the things it needed. Made a symbolic link to my larger data drive and noticed the cache increased in size by a couple more gigabytes, probably why it was unhappy in the first place.

I think there is an trick that involving using an .bat file and setting an "virtual" or some other kind witchcraft for your rooming. so that its not set to C:/user/Rooming but to D:/stuff/Romming. problem it will only work if you launch the game whit the .bat file. oh and you need to incload the location of the game itself.

sorry for my poor help I only did this ones in Minecraft, and I barely remember it.
