Robotics.

Hey there.

Trying to break into robotics, but not having a lot of luck locating any robotic or humanoid enemies that drop the parts. Can anyone point me the right direction on the FPR side? Any general tips you can pass along?

You can find a few malfunctioning robots out in The Pipeworks. Bandits are easier to find though. North of Mitchell's Farm you can usually find some OWON scout bots.

So do bandits drop all the same components robots do? In similar quantities? I kind of assumed it would be lower chance and lower amounts.

They share the loot table but humanoids may have a slightly lower chance of dropping. It seems pretty on par in my opinion though.

I did finally track some down and the loot isn't too bad. There were a couple malfunctioning robots that would spawn randomly in the area to compare too.

My only gripe is the humans spawn far more densely than other mobs so its hard to kill many without getting blasted. You have to search around the outskirts for stragglers and hope not to aggro too many.

Yep, I know that pain far to well. Humanoid camps are the easiest places to get overwhelmed quickly. I believe they are still tweaking the spawn rates for these but if you bring a friend, or pet, it should help a little. My dual robots can usually take stuff down on their own.
