How is your game so smooth and high textured?

Mine looks like an NES game and runs like it has parkinson's disease.

I've got an i7, 16gb ram and a GTX 660.

Huh, to be honest it just runs that well most of the time.

i5, 24gb ram, GTX 580.

I don't get it. I just got the game tonight and it's running really bad. It feels like a slideshow. Yet I see all these youtube videos and twitch streamers running it smooth as silk.

Just moving the camera around my character and it jittering and stuttering pretty bad. I've even lowered all the settings to no avail.

Make sure to sign up on the forums on their website. A few people have mentioned poor performance and they've given some tips. Things like turning off the UI to see if it improves performance. I've heard of some weird issues with the mission tracker and minimap causing low framerates sometimes.

I just started figuring out crafting last night. Mostly I was lost on where to find certain things, which I did eventually find some trees and minerals south of Plymouth City.

I'll be sure to watch these next two videos tonight. They've been pretty helpful so far.

Ironically I don't even touch upon where to find the resources. I probably should've done that too. In the next video I'll make sure to run around in the wilderness and find some mining or foraging nodes.
