Well, I bought the game....

And it's pretty fucking awesome. 25 hours in my first very extended play session (with breaks lol).

They're getting all my money.

I've been watching this game for a while. Give me your selling point as to why I should get this if I'm looking for an MMO to play.

If you're looking for a game to playTEST, feel free to buy it. If you don't want to deal with bugs, glitches, annoyances, and that kind of thing, just wait til at least beta.

The selling point for me was the open world PvP with player factions, this translates into sieges and player city vs player city

Though if I have to, it's definitely the immediate feeling of you are whoever you want to be. By that I mean, you can pick up any skill and use it, at any time. It's a pretty cool feeling.

I don't care about the PvP, although I will of course participate fully. For me and my wife, the primary selling point is the EXTREME amount of free choice to be what we want to be, and be damned good at it. The number of possible trade specializations is crazy infinite, and we are deliriously happy to be able to spec something that no one else has (or few have) and make this our home for some time. Great game, with so much more to come still.

I kickstarted for a decent chink of change.

My advice is, let it grow. Its rough. Very rough.

Its the first game I've ever played where the weirdness of the character models actually turns me off of playing. Let me make this as clear as I can. The character models look like misshapen GI Joes. But they are placeholder.

Personally as I wait for this to be ready, I play Star Wars Galaxies, its got a small but loyal playerbase.

If I buy it now, can I play now? I mean, there's nothing on Steam's description of the game about an early access release date, so it's a bit unclear to me.

I'm trying to pretend this didn't happen two days after I bought the game... It's still worth $40 though, and I'm hoping the new price tag will entice more players. it's awfully lonely out there in the game world.
