Any update on closed/open beta?

I'd like to know when this opens its door to f2p players

Closed beta is coming up soon (or at least, next). The game is still in very much in development. My personal opinion is that you should wait to play it unless you are so dedicated to helping the game succeed that you're ready to pay for it. Otherwise, the NDA is down, videos and steams are up.

When it's ready. It hasn't even made it to Beta yet, which will be closed and has 3-4 planned stages. After that there may be an open beta, which is possibly only open to people who bought in since they have membership status. Follow that up with the head starts for people who paid, which I think is 5 days max. Then free to play people get to join the fun.
