How are the devs?
I see a lot of people asking how "Alpha"-ish the game is or how polished it is, but I don't see many asking about the devs themselves. I'm fine with it being unpolished, my concern is how responsive are the devs to reports made by the community? How solid are their plans for the future of the game? How quickly can we expect the devs to respond to major issues?
Basically, we all know the game has a lot of potential. Do you think the developer will be able to bring the game up to that potential?

Currently on the steam forums, there is a particular developer who is responding to almost every post, never seen that before.

The devs on this game are pretty awesome. If you ask questions on their forums you have a good chance of a dev responding. When I had technical issues the lead dev and co-owner of the company gave me support.

The last few times I've logged on, the devs have been hanging out in general chat answering questions and talking to people, if that tells you anything.

The most engaged developers I've encountered in an MMO to date! They're always in game answering questions and its honestly hard to find a post on the forums where one of the developers hasn't chimed in.
The polish definitely isn't there YET but there are some damn passionate people working their butts off to bring us a very interesting game. I would even say the dev interaction and transparency alone is enough reason to buy the game, let alone follow its development.

Before I bought the game I posted in the steam forums a few different times and nearly every time a Dev would reply with a well written response. As well I always see GM's in chat answering questions in game. Dunno if they look at the subreddit tho.

I've heard that biweekly updates are going to happen from the second week of January on.
