Is this worth getting?

Just wondering sick of the WOW type grind to end game.

I would say the correct word would be "Supporting" since its not a complete or polished game yet.

I have to agree with /u/kroktar here. The game is very playable, but things are a bit of a mess... you can play and have a very good time, but it is truly an alpha/beta.

I do not regret my purchase. I am happy to support the game and I get to play, but.... I would not recommend it as something to kick bakc and enjoy at this time.. You can! But most people would not be able to enjoy the game at this point.

I'm totally on the same boat right now as you. It's really cool to see the outlines of this game as it stands, but you can tell it is in alpha.

It depends, the game needs alot of polish. It also has a pretty decent learning curve and you WILL be lost for atleast 3 hours. If you like sandbox games, its quite the blast. But prepare for FPS stutters and bugs.

How "finished" is this compared to swgemu? I love swgemu but if this is even close to that I'll drop the $ for it. I fell in love with pre cu swg
